In response to recent media coverage, the developer of Láng District issues the following statement.
Southblaze Kft. is the owner and developer of the project. Bayer Construct Zrt. is involved in the development solely as the general contractor and has no role in the project’s ownership, financing or decision-making.
The buildings currently under construction within Láng District are covered by duly issued and legally valid building permits. The approved designs have also received the support of both the District Consultative Design Council and the National Architectural Design Council.
Construction is progressing in accordance with the project schedule. Substructure and earthworks are expected to be completed by the end of September, after which structural works will commence.
As the developer, we are committed to ensuring that purchasers are able to take possession of their homes on schedule and in accordance with the agreed technical specifications. To this end, we will ensure that the development is delivered in line with the project schedule and to the required technical standards, regardless of the contractor engaged to carry out the works.
Láng District aims to set a benchmark for the regeneration of the former Láng Machine Factory site while preserving its industrial heritage. The former brownfield industrial site is being transformed into a people-centred urban district with extensive green spaces and community areas — a neighbourhood designed to foster a strong sense of community while delivering consistent and reliable quality.
